It’s time to apply for financial aid for the 2018-2019 school year. Financial aid is available for Kindergarten through 8th grade and the application deadline is December 1, 2017. Thank you to everyone who donated to our Hurricane Relief Jeans Day today! Student Council collected $218 which will be sent to the National Catholic Educational Association Student to Student Fund for hurricane relief.
The next SPAM (St. Paul the Apostle Moms) meeting is Wednesday, October 18, 10-11am in the Ss. Peter & Paul Room. All are welcome, little ones, too! Join other moms for some time to talk and maybe craft a bit. We will also share upcoming activities. Please come and meet some new people within our community.
This year we will be celebrating All Hallows Eve on October 31st to prepare us for the Feast of All Saints on November 1st. Our 8th grade leaders are planning activities for all the children. Room parents, please be sure to check with your teachers about treats.
Ever wish you had some moms to help you navigate the world of middle school or answer questions about preparation for (gulp) high school? Come to the Middle School Moms Q & A Meeting Monday, October 23rd at 8:00am (right after drop off) so we can talk and support one another. Hope to see you there!
The 8th Grade Wreath Sale is October 16 — October 26. For $15 you can purchase a 24-25” Natural Fraser Fir wreath from any 8th grader. Orders can also be placed in the school or parish office. Payment is due at the time of order. Wreaths will be available for pickup after school or during Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 20 & 21. Trivia Night sponsored by Friends of St. Paul is Friday, November 10th. Tickets are $15 pre-sale or $20 at the door. You can purchase them in the school and parish office. Buy a single or get together a table of 8. BYO snacks and appetizers. Cash bar.
New this year: Dress up with a theme for your table and winners get a free table for next years party and bragging rights! Example: Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs, Wizard of Oz, favorite ball team, etc. Save the date for the Santa Parade! Lacks Enterprises has invited our students and families to walk with them in this year’s parade on Saturday, November 18! Event details and RSVP info coming soon. What a great opportunity for the students to represent our amazing school!

All current 8th graders remember this Sunday, October 15th is Catholic Central’s Fall Showcase from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This will provide an opportunity to meet and interact with teachers, administrators, and students.
